Isuzu’s Group Product Sales Fall nearly 10-Percent in 2011 April to December Period

Recently, Isuzu Motors Limited has posted group product sales of nearly 964.54-billion yen for 2011 April to December period, which is clearly down 9.9-percent when compared to previous year’s sales.

The main reason for the sales decline is the on-shipment disturbances caused by natural earthquake and tsunami in March 2011, and also the disastrous floods witnessed in Thailand.

The automaker also informed that it has recorded group net earnings of around 48.70-billion yen, which is up by nearly 3.4-percent, while the operating turnover of the company is around 64.21-billion yen, and it is down by 7.3-percent.

For the financial year through 31st March, the company remained unaltered about its predictions announced in November, estimating a net profit of 74-billion yen that is up by 43.4-pecent, on sales of 1.43-trillion yen, up by 1.0-percent, and an overall operating income of 94-billion yen, which is up by 6.6-percent.
